Black Heels to Tractor Wheels by Ree Drummond

I am 13 years old. Many of the books in my comfort zone are YA. This time, though, I tried to ride on some different tracks.

Ree Drummond, also known as The Pioneer Woman, wrote Black Heels to Tractor Heels based on how she met her husband, whom is referred to as Marlboro Man throughout the book. It has hilarious chapters with many different things that Ree goes through which are often very, if not extremely, embarrassing. I read this book randomly, not knowing what would come out if it. I loved it! I rate this 5 stars.

Reunited by Hilary Weisman Graham

Alice, Tiernan, and Summer are ex-best friends. Emphasis on the ex. They had been friends for ever, until the one summer when they all got flipped upside down. Now Summer is popular. Tiernan is crazy. Alice is cool, calm, and collected. How could they possibly survive a road trip-together?

My thoughts on Reunited were mixed. Overall, I thought the book was nicely written with great dialogue and perspective. However, there were some sections of the book that I thought could have been left out. My rating is 4 stars. Hopefully, this author will have more fantastic writing. I would love to read it!
